Tournament Rules
Conspectus Gaming rules and practices for cEDH tournaments:
- Proxy Policy: You may have any number of high-quality, printed proxies. Handwritten or paper-in-front-of-card proxies are not allowed.
- Deck Standards: Decks should be fully optimized with "best-in-slot" cards; "Rule 0" is not applicable.
- Game Structure: Pod matches will consist of 3-4 players. Singles matches will be 1v1. Please see "Scoring" for more information.
- No Kingmaking or Spite Plays: Deliberate, non-rational, or spite-based actions that help one player win at the expense of others are strongly discouraged.
- Fast Play: Players are expected to know their decks well and act efficiently, as slow play can be a major issue in timed rounds.
- No "Take-Backs": Physical actions are locked in once taken. Missed triggers cannot be "triggered" later if forgotten.
- Interaction & Power Level: Expect intense stack-heavy, fast games, where turn 2-3 wins are possible, and high-efficiency interaction is required.
